Thursday Throwdown: How do you take your post-ride cake, with tea or coffee?

ShareThis

What is your hot drink of choice after a cycle ride - tea or coffee? That was the question asked on this weeks Thursday Throwdown. It got a predictably caffeine charged response!

The definite consensus was coffee before the ride. However, cuppas just about dominated the post-ride debate. It seems as if we need the beans to give us the sharp caffeine hit necessary to pedal off into the distance but reward ourselves with a calming cuppa tea afterwards.

This week’s debate extended into Twitter (@goinggoingbike), where Margaritas were the most potent post ride drink of choice! On the Throwdown proper Cathy’s “hot chocolate, Spanish style” sounded like a good alternative.

Feel free to continue the debate below!
