Let cycling set you free!

Inspired by Andrew Gilligan’s article yesterday in The Telegraph thought I’d share some of my own experiences of commuting. In a nutshell, it’s amazing! Before I started had concerns about safety, practicality, lack of showers etc but the reality is after your first week you’re hooked.
You arrive in the office awake, you arrive home relaxed, you get places quicker and fundamentally you just feel free. You can chat to other cyclists, scooters or even convertible drivers. You can go at your own pace and rarely get stuck in traffic. You get fitter. You go places you never bothered to before. You see a whole new side of the city you live in.
I really don’t think I could go back to any other form of transport. The sweatiness of the tube during rush hour, the frustration of traffic in a car, the slowness of walking – all can be avoided by just using your bicycle.
All I need now is a faster bike so don’t get overtaken at every traffic lights and my cycling happiness will be complete!
