Celebrate women’s cycling this Sunday

We mentioned in August that the Breeze network of British Cycling was putting on a day of action called Breeze in the Park to celebrate the success and rise of women in cycling sport as well encourage more cycling participation among women.

That day of action is this Sunday (September 23) and Breeze has revealed details of what will be happening at the larger organised Breeze in the Park events that are taking place.

These events are listed below, click on the links to see more details:

Breeze in the Park Bradford - Lister Park 10am-1pm

Breeze in the Park Preston – Avenham Park 10am-1pm

Breeze in the Park Plymouth – Devonport Park 2-4pm

Breeze in the Park Manchester – National Cycling Centre via Philips Park 10am-1pm

Breeze in the Park Hull - Peter Pan Park (Costello) 10am-1pm

Breeze in the Park Bournemouth – Slades Farm in Ensbury Park 10am-1pm

Breeze in the Park Kent – Cyclopark 10am-1pm

Breeze in the Park Middlesbrough – Prissick Base 10am-1pm

Breeze in the Park London - Victoria Park 10am - 1pm

Breeze hopes to attract a large number of women (and their bikes of course) to these events and hope their friends and children will join in.

Turning up on the day is fine at the organised events, but Breeze would like you to register with them beforehand.
