The Volt™ Metro is a high spec’d and very smart looking folding electric bike. Mounted on the handlebars is a simple to use LCD power controller which has six different levels of pedal assistance as well as digital speed and odometer readings. It has a powerful 250W bafang maintenance free motor to power you along and this can be used for both pedal assistance or for free wheeling when you use the simple to operate thumb throttle to control the bikes speed. The powerful 36V 10Ah Lithium Polymer battery ensures that you should never run out of power. On a medium pedal assistance level you should be able to cycle 40 miles which is a long way by anyone’s standards. Of course a lower setting will allow you to go even further! All the parts on the bike are top quality. High spec 8-Speed Shimano gears help you make the most of your riding experience. Both front and rear brakes are made by Tektro thus ensuring reliability and importantly stopability. Powerful LED lights ensure that you are highly visible to other road users and are ﬁtted to both the front and rear. The LED’s are controlled from a button on the handlebars. The latest in mudguard technology not only keeps you clean and dry but also helps reduce the amount of wires used on the bike as they have been designed to safely carry the power for the LED lights through them without using wires This bike also comes with a two year warranty as standard and is available is black or white.
